In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Buchanan Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Dos Pueblos Chargers.

The Bears (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Clovis East (Clovis, CA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Clovis East beat Clovis North (Fresno, CA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Marcos for a Channel test on Tuesday, September 30. Dos Pueblos will face a Royals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Royals record now stands at 16-2.
