Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) and the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), saw Buchanan's volleyball squad notch a victory over San Marcos by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Buchanan improves its record to 27-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA) to encounter the Sea Hawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Sea Hawks go into the battle with a record of 21-5.

The Royals now own a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sierra Canyon for a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. San Marcos will meet a Trailblazers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Chaminade (West Hills, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 26-3.
