Texas High School Volleyball - Smithson Valley over Veterans Memorial

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) and the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX), observed Smithson Valley's volleyball team top Veterans Memorial by a tally of 3-1.

The Rangers (23-11) will now prepare for their contest against Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX). The Chargers enter the 5A Region IV District 26 contest with a 21-5 record.

The Patriots now own a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, September 30. Veterans Memorial will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 21-5.
