Texas High School Volleyball - Pieper tips Smithson Valley

September 12, 2025: Spring Branch, TX 78070

Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Pieper improves its record to 22-9 on the season. The Warriors host Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX) to face the Chargers in a 5A Region IV District 26 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 19-3. Boerne-Champion lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Boerne (Boerne, TX)

Next, the Rangers play the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Smithson Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 20-10 season record. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a 30-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX).
