North Carolina High School Volleyball - Foard over Hickory

In Wednesday's league contest, the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Tigers battle the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A contest, on Monday, October 2. Foard will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC).

With the loss, Hickory moves to 9-7 on the year. The Red tornadoes travel to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, September 28. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 3-12. Alexander Central won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Freedom (Morganton, NC)
