The Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) football trounced the host Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA), 49-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hoover for a Pacific outing on Friday, October 4. Burroughs will clash with a Tornados squad coming off a 23-20 league loss to Pasadena (Pasadena, CA). The Tornados record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Glendale drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Nitros host Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA) to meet the Falcons in a Pacific test on Friday, October 4. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-3. Crescenta Valley lost 53-0 in their recent league test against Muir (Pasadena, CA)
