September 27, 2024: Delavan, WI 53115 Delavan-Darien Comets (Delavan, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI), 20-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Delavan-Darien improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Comets host Monroe (Monroe, WI) to play the Cheesemakers in a Rock Valley battle on Friday, October 4. The Cheesemakers go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Monroe won 45-22 in their recent league battle against McFarland (McFarland, WI)
The Blue Devils now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Edgerton for a Rock Valley battle on Friday, October 4. Evansville will play a Crimson Tide team coming off a 35-6 league win over Jefferson (Jefferson, WI). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 5-1.
