September 27, 2024: Viborg, SD 57070 The Viborg/Hurley Cougars walloped the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons football team by a score of 50-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Chester Flyers (Chester, SD) in a Cornbelt (9 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 4. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Flyers go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 52-20 league loss to Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
The Blue Dragons (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks go into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Elkton/Lake Benton bounced Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD), 61-8, in a non-league challenge.
