Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), 28-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Spring Valley improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Timberwolves host Huntington (Huntington, WV) to play the Highlanders in a Mountain State battle on Friday, October 11. The Highlanders go into the battle with a record of 3-1.

The Patriots now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Capital for a Mountain State battle on Friday, October 4. George Washington will play a Cougars team coming off a 31-19 league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
