New York High School Football - Oceanside wallops Port Washington
September 27, 2025: Oceanside, NY 11572 The Oceanside Sailors football squad scored 51 points and limited the visiting Port Washington Vikings to 14 in the Sailors league triumph on Saturday.
The Sailors now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Massapequa for a Section 8 Conference I test on Saturday, October 4. Oceanside will meet a Chiefs squad coming off a 41-6 league win over Hempstead (Hempstead, NY). The Chiefs record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, Port Washington drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Westbury (Old Westbury, NY) to play the Green Dragons in a Section 8 Conference I challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Green Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Westbury won 35-16 in their recent league challenge against Uniondale (Uniondale, NY)
