Briarwood Christian Lions (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Briarwood Christian improves its record to 21-3 on the season. The Lions host Homewood (Homewood, AL) to meet the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 15-14. Homewood lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Buckhorn (New Market, AL)

Next, the Red Devils meet the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Lawrence County will attempt to upgrade on its 20-18 season record.
