In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Central Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Florence Falcons.

The Wildcats (32-7) will now prepare for their battle against Brooks (Killen, AL). The Lions come into the 4A Area 14 battle with a 17-16 record. In their last battle, Brooks lost by Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
