In Thursday's league contest, the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bishops face the Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 14. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.

With the loss, Roanoke Catholic moves to 5-10 on the year. The Celtics travel to New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Gryphons in a VISAA Blue Ridge contest on Monday, October 3. The Gryphons go into the contest with a record of 11-4. New Covenant won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Southwest Virginia Academy (Roanoke, VA)
