In Friday's league match, the host Central Valley Cougars football squad scored a big 50-8 victory over the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 6. Central Valley will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.
