The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Fargo North Spartans (Fargo, ND) and the host Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND), observed Fargo North's football squad defeat Red River by a count of 38-20.

The Spartans now own a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Devils Lake for a A contest on Friday, October 6. Fargo North will encounter a Firebirds squad coming off a 42-8 league win over Turtle Mountain (Belcourt, ND). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-4.
