September 29, 2023: Charmco, WV 29598 The Greenbrier West Cavaliers (Charmco, WV) football routed the visiting Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), 55-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) in a Coalfield A bout, on Friday, October 6. Greenbrier West will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Mavericks enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 50-26 league win over Summers County (Hinton, WV).
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Man (Man, WV). The Hillbillies enter the Coalfield AA bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Man walloped Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV), 69-0, in a league bout.
