The Lowellville Rockets walloped the visiting McDonald Blue Devils football team by a count of 40-6 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Lowellville upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Rockets host Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to confront the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet outing on Friday, October 6. The Bluejays go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Jackson-Milton won 19-6 in their recent league outing against Waterloo (Atwater, OH)

With the loss, McDonald moves to 4-3 on the season. The Blue devils host Windham (Windham, OH) to confront the Bombers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 6. The Bombers enter the bout with a record of 2-5. Windham lost 36-33 in their recent league bout against St. John (Ashtabula, OH)
