The Magruder Colonels football team (Rockville, MD), was knocked off 38-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD)

The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Catoctin was knocked off by Frederick (Frederick, MD), 49-6, in a league challenge.

The Colonels now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a Montgomery County 3A challenge on Friday, October 7. Magruder will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 20-12 non-league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
