The Wootton Patriots football team (Rockville, MD), was knocked off 23-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD)

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Watkins Mill was knocked off by Rockville (Rockville, MD), 35-0, in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Clarksburg for a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Friday, September 16. Wootton will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 49-0 league loss to Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-2.
