The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons football team (Bethesda, MD), was beaten 29-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD)

The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Wootton was beaten by Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD), 13-0, in a league challenge.

The Barons now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richard Montgomery for a Montgomery County 4A - West challenge on Friday, September 9. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will meet a Rockets team coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Rockets record now stands at 0-1.
