September 30, 2024: Independence, MO 64058 The Fort Osage Indians overwhelmed the visiting Chrisman Bears softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Grain Valley Eagles (Grain Valley, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Fort Osage will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 27-1 record after their 18-0 non-league win over Raytown (Raytown, MO).
The Bears (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Truman (Independence, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 8-19 record. In their last challenge, Truman toppled Ruskin (Kansas City, MO), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
