Missouri High School Softball - Chrisman bested by Fort Osage
September 20, 2024: Independence, MO 64058 The Fort Osage Indians triumphed over the visiting Chrisman Bears softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Fort Osage will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Park Hill South (Riverside, MO).
The Bears (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithville (Smithville, MO). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Smithville was routed by Mid-Buchanan (Faucett, MO), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
