Missouri High School Softball - Kearney bounces Smithville
September 30, 2024: Smithville, MO 64089 The Kearney Bulldogs softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Smithville Warriors to 2 in the Bulldogs league win on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Excelsior Springs for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. Kearney will confront a Tigers team coming off a 13-0 league win over Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Smithville moves to 10-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to Grandview (Grandview, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 0-1.
