Maryland High School Soccer - Chesapeake nudged by Glen Burnie
September 30, 2025: Glen Burnie, MD 21060 Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD), 2-1 in a non-league outing.
The Gophers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Old Mill (Millersville, MD). The Patriots go into the Class 3A East II outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Old Mill was edged by South River (Edgewater, MD), 3-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Old Mill Patriots (Millersville, MD) in a Class 3A East II outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Chesapeake will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
