Michigan High School Volleyball - Brethren bounced by Onekama
September 30, 2025: Onekama, MI 49675 Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Brethren Bobcats (Brethren, MI), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Onekama improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Portagers travel to Buckley (Buckley, MI) to face the Bears in a Northwest test on Thursday, October 2. The Bears go into the test with a record of 14-5. Buckley won 3-0 in their recent league test against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI)
The Bobcats now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Lake for a Northwest challenge on Thursday, October 2. Brethren will meet a Lakers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 6-5.
