The East Henderson Eagles volleyball squad (East Flat Rock, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC)

With the win, Brevard improves its record to 15-9 on the season. The Blue Devils host Tuscola (Waynesville, NC) to encounter the Mountaineers in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A battle on Thursday, October 2. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a record of 2-17.

Next, the Eagles meet the Pisgah Bears (Canton, NC) in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A contest, on Thursday, October 2. East Henderson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-22 season record.
