California High School Volleyball - Piedmont over Encinal

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Piedmont Highlanders volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Encinal Jets.

The Highlanders (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans come into the West Alameda County - Foothill challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Castro Valley lost by Alameda (Alameda, CA), 3-2, in a league test.

The Jets now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoor for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. Encinal will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Rams record now stands at 4-13.
