California High School Volleyball - Piedmont overwhelmed by Bishop O'Dowd

Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bishop O'Dowd improves its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to meet the Trojans in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Castro Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)

Next, the Highlanders meet the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Encinal (Alameda, CA).
