Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Franklin overwhelmed by Slippery Rock

Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Slippery Rock improves its record to 16-4 on the season. The Rockets travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to meet the Eagles in a District 10 Region 3 challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Grove City lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Titusville (Titusville, PA)

Next, the Knights meet the Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
