Kentucky High School Volleyball - Wayne County over Somerset Christian

September 30, 2025: Monticello, KY 42633

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Wayne County Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Somerset Christian Cougars.

The Cardinals (15-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 3-18 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County was beaten by Boyle County (Danville, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) in a District 48 test, on Thursday, October 2. Somerset Christian will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 15-13 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY).
