St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ), 71-65 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ) to play the Eagles in a Cape/Atlantic - American bout on Friday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Egg Harbor Township won 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against Linden (Linden, NJ)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Hammonton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 65-48 league win over Highland Regional (Blackwood, NJ).
