The Meridian Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Ferndale Golden Eagles to 34 in the Trojans league victory on Monday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellingham for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Monday, January 17.

The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Oak Harbor was defeated by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 51-18, in a league contest.
