Washington High School Basketball - Ferndale fells Oak Harbor
January 17, 2022: Oak Harbor, WA 98277 Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), 62-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Ferndale upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, January 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Mount Vernon lost 71-38 in their recent league bout against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Thursday, January 20. Oak Harbor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 52-38 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA).
