January 10, 2023: Ladysmith, WI 54848 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ladysmith Lumberjacks (Ladysmith, WI) and the visiting Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI), saw Ladysmith's basketball squad wallop Barron by a tally of 81-54.
With the victory, Ladysmith improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Heart O'North challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser won 49-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Boyceville (Boyceville, WI)
Next up, the Golden Bears confront the Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI) in a Heart O'North challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Barron will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Rails come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 59-32 non-league loss to Bloomer (Bloomer, WI).
