January 10, 2023: Oxford, PA 19363 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) and the host Oxford Hornets (Oxford, PA), saw Bayard Rustin's basketball squad hold off Oxford by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Bayard Rustin improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA) to confront the Blue Demons in a Ches-Mont - American challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Kennett lost 59-44 in their recent league challenge against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 71-52 non-league loss to William Tennent (Warminster, PA).
