January 10, 2023: Houston, TX 77067 The Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX), 42-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Falcons (12-9) will now prepare for their test against MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Generals go into the 6A Region II District 14 test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, MacArthur got by Dekaney (Houston, TX), 68-56, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Aldine for a 6A Region II District 14 test on Friday, January 13. Westfield will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 67-58 league loss to Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-14.
