Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), 76-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Casteel upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Firebirds come into the bout with a record of 7-9. Chaparral lost 77-62 in their recent non-league bout against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)

Next up, the Wolves play the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Desert Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 65-62 league win over Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ).
