The Desert Mountain Wolves basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Chaparral Firebirds to 48 in the Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolves now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Havasu for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Desert Mountain will meet a Knights team coming off a 93-36 league loss to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 1-20.

The Firebirds (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Saints enter the 5A Northeast Valley contest with a 19-4 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Prep ran past Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 73-44, in a league contest.
