The Rye Cove Eagles basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Castlewood Blue Devils to 61 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jenkins for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14.

The Blue Devils (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Hurley was nudged by Grundy (Grundy, VA), 54-32, in a league contest.
