Union (Tulsa, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Charles Page Sandites (Sand Springs, OK), 60-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The travel to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK) to clash with the Chieftains in a Frontier bout on Friday, January 13. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Sapulpa lost 75-48 in their recent league bout against Bixby (Bixby, OK)

Next up, the Sandites clash with the Owasso Rams (Owasso, OK) in a Frontier bout, on Friday, January 13. Charles Page will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 54-50 league loss to Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK).
