Nebraska High School Basketball - Chase County thwarts Southern Valley

The Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE), 55-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Longhorns (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Plainsmen go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Perkins County notched a victory over Paxton (Paxton, NE), 52-41, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Holdrege for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Southern Valley will encounter a Dusters squad coming off a 52-51 non-league win over Adams Central (Hastings, NE). The Dusters record now stands at 8-4.
