North Carolina High School Basketball - Christ Covenant can't hold off Trinity Christian

January 10, 2023: Greenville, NC 27858

The Trinity Christian Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Christ Covenant Spartan to 55 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Christian Academy for a North Carolina Christian - 2A South contest on Friday, January 13. Trinity Christian will battle a team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The record now stands at 4-7.

The Spartan (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Victory Christian (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Victory Christian was nudged by Rock Church (Franklin, VA), 67-34, in a league contest.
