January 10, 2023: Jeannette, PA 15644 In Tuesday's league outing, the Jeannette Jayhawks (Jeannette, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA), by a margin of 39-34.
The Jayhawks (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Springdale (Springdale, PA). The Dynamos go into the WPIAL 2A 3 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Springdale held off Leechburg (Leechburg, PA), 69-65, in a league outing.
The Bears now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Greensburg Central Catholic for a WPIAL 2A 3 outing on Friday, January 13. Clairton will clash with a Centurions squad coming off a 73-53 non-league loss to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Centurions record now stands at 7-5.
