Alabama High School Basketball - Lowndes Academy crushes Crenshaw Christian Academy
January 10, 2023: Lowndesboro, AL 36752 Lowndes Academy Rebels (Lowndesboro, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars (Luverne, AL), 66-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Lowndes Academy upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Rebels travel to Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-12.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Crenshaw Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 65-32 league loss to Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL).
