Connecticut High School Basketball - Glastonbury holds off Enfield
January 10, 2023: Glastonbury, CT 06033 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) and the visiting Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT), saw Glastonbury's basketball squad hold off Enfield by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Glastonbury improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to Conard (West Hartford, CT) to confront the Red Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Conard won 57-26 in their recent league challenge against Southington (Southington, CT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT) in a Central Connecticut - East Patriot challenge, on Friday, January 13. Enfield will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 65-56 league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT).
