Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX) and the host Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), saw Frankston's basketball squad hold off Mineola by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Frankston improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Indians host Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 17-4.
