Georgia High School Basketball - Wilkinson County overwhelms Georgia Military College
January 10, 2023: Milledgeville, GA 31061 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA) and the host Georgia Military College Bulldogs (Milledgeville, GA), saw Wilkinson County's basketball squad wallop Georgia Military College by a tally of 79-56.
With the victory, Wilkinson County improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA) to confront the Cobras in a A D2 Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Twiggs County lost 93-47 in their recent league challenge against Hancock Central (Sparta, GA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Georgia Military College will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 76-27 league win over Glascock County (Gibson, GA).
