California High School Basketball - Las Plumas nips Gridley
January 10, 2023: Gridley, CA 95948 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) and the host Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), saw Las Plumas's basketball squad hold off Gridley by a tally of 78-76.
With the victory, Las Plumas improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Orland (Orland, CA) to play the Trojans in a Butte View challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Orland won 56-53 in their recent league challenge against Oroville (Oroville, CA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) in a Butte View challenge, on Friday, January 13. Gridley will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 43-32 league loss to Oroville (Oroville, CA).
