Louisiana High School Basketball - Hackberry holds off Singer
January 10, 2023: Hackberry, LA 70645 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) and the visiting Singer Hornets (Singer, LA), saw Hackberry's basketball squad hold off Singer by a tally of 61-59.
With the victory, Hackberry improves its record to 4-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA) to confront the Rebels in a C District 4 challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 0-9.
Next up, the Hornets confront the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Singer will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 55-36 league win over Kinder (Kinder, LA).
