In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS) basketball squad beat the visiting Halstead Dragons (Halstead, KS), by a margin of 61-52.

The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their outing against Haven (Haven, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Haven defeated Hoisington (Hoisington, KS), 49-25, in a non-league outing.

The Dragons now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Hoisington for a Central Kansas outing on Thursday, January 12. Halstead will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 49-25 non-league loss to Haven (Haven, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-6.
